  • Trust/Financial Officer

    Job Summary: This position involves discretionary responsibilities associated with the management and/or administration, and/or investment of accounts under management. This position will require the ability to come alongside the current “Trust Team” in the efforts to continue the growth of accounts under management. This position requires excellence in integrity, self-motivation, flexibility, and discernment. Primary Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions): Provide fiduciary support and expertise to meet the needs of clients in support of the integrated delivery of products and services. Work closely with the Trust Team in defining client’s requirements including legal and tax aspects, coordinating the service needs. Assist the Trust Team with marketing and cross-selling a myriad of bank services continuing to expand the Trust’s book of business. Will work with clients on Estate Planning/Financial Planning. Knowledge and Skill Qualifications (Preferred): • College degree or special on-the-job experience • Certified Trust Financial Advisor designation, licensed broker, CPA or banking schoolbackground. • 5+ years of direct client contact with wealth management, investment management andsales experience. • Strong interpersonal communication, networking and sales skills. • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment along with trust officers, investmentofficers, and other banking personnel. • Working Conditions: • Position will require working hours outside of and in excess of normal business hours • Will require travel to other Peoples Bank locations, as well as client’s homes or trustproperties • Will require travel to educational seminars and trainings We have a great compensation and benefits package.   • Farm Manager

    Position Title: Farm Manager

    Department: Trust Department                                                       

    This is a Full Time position that is responsible for Farm Management duties, including but not limited to management, accounting and crop marketing.  This position may also be required to assist with marketing other bank services.

    Primary Responsibilities:  Provide fiduciary support and expertise to meet the needs of clients in support of the integrated delivery of products and services;

    Farm Management agency accounts:

    Responsible for all aspects of managing the client’s farm/s including but not limited to:

    • Asset Evaluation (real estate)
    • Lease Analysis
    • Lease Negotiation - hiring an operator
    • Approving bills
    • Crop marketing
    • Crop mapping
    • Crop budgets
    • Crop Insurance
    • Onsite farm inspections on a scheduled basis.

    Additional Responsibilities

    Coordinate with bank retail and loan activities and assist where possible as appropriate.

    Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

    • College Degree &/or special on-the-job-experience
    • Ag related background and related skills in Agronomy and Agricultural management
    • Proven leadership abilities
    • Ability to maintain and develop relationships with existing customers as well as develop relationships with new customers
    • Basic computer skills required
    • Advanced computer skills helpful
    • Skilled in cultural diversity – must be able to work with wealthy, elderly, handicapped & all other diversified categories of clients
    • Self-motivated

    Working Conditions:

    Ability to work hours outside and in excess of normal business hours as required; Completion of any and all specialized training requirements which will demand time out of the office; Job will require travel and some overnight stay.

  • Teller - Nickerson

    Position Title: - Teller –Nickerson

    Full time - Mon-Fri. 9a.m.-5:00p.m.

    Saturday rotation – 2 Saturday’s a month

     

    JOB SUMMARY:

    Performs all duties of paying and receiving teller as well as specific assigned misc. duties for that area.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: (Essential Functions of the Job)

    • Greet customers with a smile
    • Regular and predictable attendance
    • Provide courteous and professional service to customers at all times
    • Thank customer for their business
    • Perform all paying & receiving teller functions
    • Assist with processing items in night depository as needed
    • Issue Money Orders, Cashier Checks and Gift Cards
    • Assist with mail deposits as needed
    • Process and remit Credit Card payments
    • Prepare Cash Advance transactions
    • Redeem U.S. Savings Bonds
    • Answer teller related issues on incoming phone calls
    • Complete Proof operations for all transaction tickets:
      • Scan all items
      • Batch items and prepare them to send to DCI

    Additional Responsibilities:

    Will be require to train to be a CSR

    May require various other responsibilities as described in non-related Job Descriptions

    Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

    • Full knowledge of paying & receiving teller tasks & responsibilities
    • Full knowledge of automated DCI Teller (on-line teller system)
    • Working knowledge of the iCore data base system
    • Full knowledge of policies & procedures relating to paying & receiving tellers
    • Basic computer skills
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Must be able to work well with others
    • Excellent communication skills

    Working Conditions

    • Work well with co-workers in a confined area
    • Work variable daytime hours
    • This will be a floater position
    • Work on Saturday rotation
    • Light to moderate lifting required
    • Standing may be required 60%-70% of the time
    • Work additional times as needed
