• Mortgage Loan Processor

    Position Title:  Mortgage Ln Processor - Full Time  

    Responsible for entering of all new in-house real estate loan information on the Loan Processing system Comp 1 and printing of documents pertaining to the loans as well as setting up loans through our data system (I-Core).  Complete follow through on all required documentation according to bank policy and loan regulations.  This involves internal and external, new, existing and paid off loans.  Daily/weekly review of specific reports as well as follow up is also a function of this position.  This position is also responsible for facilitating & organizing closing docs for secondary market and in-house loans as well as following Freddie Mac guidelines and underwriting the closing files.  

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (Essential Functions of the Job)
    Have knowledge of CFPB & Reg. Z lending rules.
    Distribute proper loan documentation to the appropriate loan officers;
    Enter new loan information into the I-Core system;
    Order all necessary documentation from appropriate sources as required by for the loan;
    Constant follow up on all documentation, making sure it is received in timely manner;
    Review the daily/weekly reports and follow through as appropriate;
    Complete loan balancing daily;
    Post all loan payments received;
    Handle the complete function of the loan payoff process with complete follow through;
    Daily customer interaction with receiving payments, answering questions &/or directing customer to appropriate personnel that can assist them;
    Servicing in-house loans, including the facilitation & organization of closing documentation;
    Regular and predictable attendance.

    Additional Responsibilities:
    Misc. Loan filing as needed;
    Various tasks associated with opening and closing of loans;
    May require sitting in on some loan closings as officer deems necessary.

    Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
    Excellent 10-key adding machine skills
    Basic computer skills
    Knowledge of our systems would be helpful but not a requirement
    Ability to facilitate numerous tasks at the same time
    Must have excellent inter-personnel and communication skills
    Must be self-motivated.
    Must have good organizational skills 
    Problem solving ability
    Excellent Customer Service Skills
