Fraud and Scam Reporting

Fraud and Scam Tips
Below are types of fraud or scams that are common.
- An email, that is alarming, possibly claiming you owe an amount of money or need to act on something, is a scam known as Phishing. Never click on any links, call any phone numbers or give out any information that would put you at risk.
- Phone calls or text messages that are requesting information or action on your part, claiming to be someone you are familiar with is known as an Imposter Scam. If you are ever in doubt of the validity of someone's identity or affiliation with a company, hang up and call the number you know is the correct number.
- If something sounds too good to be true, it often is.
